Scale
Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 cup warm marinara or pizza sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan or a 9×5-inch loaf pan thoroughly to prevent sticking.
- Mix Biscuit Dough and Ingredients: Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them in a large mixing bowl. Add shredded mozzarella cheese, mini or chopped pepperoni, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using. Toss everything gently until the dough pieces are evenly coated and mixed with the toppings.
- Transfer to Pan and Bake: Transfer the biscuit mixture into the prepared pan, spreading the mixture out evenly to ensure even baking. Place it in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the bread is golden brown on top and fully cooked through the center.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from oven and let the bread cool for about 5 minutes. Carefully invert the bread onto a serving plate. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Customize with your favorite pizza toppings such as cooked sausage, mushrooms, or olives for varied flavors.
- To make ahead, assemble the bread in the pan and refrigerate for up to one day before baking.
- Ensure the biscuit dough is well mixed with the cheese and pepperoni for the best pull-apart effect.
