For the Tuna Salad
- 1 can (5 ounces) tuna packed in water, drained

- 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
For the Muffins
- 2 English muffins, split and toasted
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened (for spreading on muffins)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the tuna mixture. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, diced celery, and diced red onion. Mix these ingredients thoroughly until they are evenly blended.
- Butter the muffins. Spread the softened butter evenly on the toasted sides of the English muffin halves. This adds flavor and helps create a golden crust when baked.
