Description

Create your own luxurious Bramble Berry Peach Bath Truffles with natural ingredients that fizz and soften your skin. These handmade bath truffles combine the gentle cleansing power of baking soda and citric acid with nourishing oils and delightful peach and berry fragrances for a spa-like experience at home.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • ½ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup citric acid
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • ¼ cup powdered goat milk (optional for a creamier bath)

Wet Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cocoa butter or shea butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil or coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Polysorbate 80 (optional, helps disperse oils in water)
  • ½ teaspoon peach fragrance oil or essential oil blend
  • ¼ teaspoon bramble berry fragrance oil (or complementary berry scent)
  • Mica or natural colorant (optional)

Decoration

  • Dried flower petals or peach slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and powdered goat milk if using. Ensure the mixture is well combined to create an even base.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the melted cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, Polysorbate 80, peach fragrance oil, and bramble berry fragrance oil thoroughly. If using mica or natural colorant, blend it into this wet mixture evenly.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry: Slowly pour the wet ingredient mixture into the dry mixture while continuously stirring. Mix until the texture resembles damp sand and when squeezed, it holds its shape. Avoid adding too much moisture or overmixing to prevent premature fizzing.
  4. Mold the Truffles: Using your hands or silicone molds, scoop and press the mixture tightly into small balls or desired shapes. Firm pressure ensures compact truffles that hold together well.
  5. Decorate: Optionally decorate each truffle by pressing dried flower petals or peach slices on top for a beautiful, natural look.
  6. Dry the Truffles: Allow the molded truffles to dry at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours. This drying time ensures they harden properly and are ready for use or packaging.
  7. Usage: When ready to use, drop one truffle into warm bath water to enjoy a fizzy, moisturizing soak that softens skin and delivers calming peach and berry aromas.

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to preserve fragrance and fizz.
  • Use within 3 to 4 months for optimal scent and effectiveness.
  • Handle with dry hands to avoid premature activation of fizzing agents.
  • This product is for external use only and should not be ingested.
